Some detailed information about Cross Cut Saw Handles

There are many different ways of connecting from a cross cut saw to a handle. Each way has its own characteristics including various problems, advantages and tradition of use. I have made an effort here to list those that I know about with examples of them.
There is additional information about handles in the manufacturer specific files for Atkins, Disston and Simonds.
- Dillard patent connection type An unusual type of connection. I have only two pairs of this connection and one does not have its handle being only the cast metal parts.

- Bolt connection type An unusual type of connection. I have only one pair of this connection.
