At one point during the 50s, using it as a Boy Scout, I successfully managed to put a permanent scar on my left knee. I did this while trying to prove that I could cut a log faster that a two man team could. Unfortunately the saw jumped out of the cut the first time I gave a pull and the saw fell down on my leg. (I was wearing shorts at the time and my knee stopped it quite nicely).
In 2006 I had Dolly Chapman sharpen it.
